People Management Training

We are currently enrolling for our  new and innovative management course that is aimed at supervisors and “people” managers. One of the most difficult parts of becoming a manager is dealing with staff and coping with this specialised responsibility. Most of these responsibilities are assumed without any degree of training in relation to management techniques or the ability to share ideas with other supervisors. This course which is delivered over two half day sessions intends to bridge this skills gap. If you are a manage staff, then this is the course for you. This course involves a considerable amount of personal development, using psychometric testing to analyse your natural leadership style and your preferred method of dealing with conflict.  The course will cover the following:
  • Understanding of differences between leadership and management.
  • Identifying attendees preferred learning style to help build relationships with your team and identify how to get the best from them.
  • Gain insights into how attendees naturally deal with conflict and get an understanding on resolving conflict issues with staff/customers.

Work Experience Students

Job Coaching

We are doing quite a bit of Job Coaching to Leaving Cert Applied (LCA) and Transition Year (TY) students getting them prepared for their work experience modules. The course is very practical and focuses on the skills required so students can acquire comprehensive work experience in an area that compliments their skill set and natural abilities. I also do quite a bit of communication and confidence building work, that will allow them to be more effective in the workplace and adapt faster to the social situation. This is crucial as a major concern for employers in relation to mid teens is their communications and social skills. Once these skills are addressed the student tends to settle faster and gain a better experience from the workplace. 

We also do similar courses for those who are looking to get back into the working environment. So whether you have been made redundant or your children are now all back at school and you are looking to rebuild your career, this full day workshop will get you back on track. The workshops allows you to focus your thoughts and help you establish what you would like to do next in your career by focusing on your natural abilities, skills and competencies. The session also helps you to build your confidence and sharpen your communication skills. This is all delivered in a fun and motivating session that will help you to refocus on your goals and target what you are going to do next.

Presentation Skills

We regularly deliver courses to the public on presentation and communication skills. Most people are more scared of delivering presentations than they are of dying. Our methodology is to make it fun and work in with your natural abilities to deliver an impressive presentation.
